Living in a high fire zone area, I have directly experienced the brunt of California laws and regulations that seem to suppress people like us. Fire insurance costs are skyrocketing, with limited options for coverage. The recent devastating and deadly fires have been a stark reminder of the danger we live in daily due to the lack of effective leadership and incompetence of individuals like Governor Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass. The situation has only worsened as they cut fire department funds by 17 million, leaving us without adequate water resources - an unthinkable situation given the immense taxes we all pay. According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), there have been more than 8024 fires in 2024 alone.  These fires have consumed just over a million acres of land, causing untold property damage and loss of life.

These leaders have placed the citizens of Los Angeles in significant jeopardy. The only honorable course of action for them now is to resign from their offices. We cannot afford any more disasters due to mismanagement and neglect. The safety and well being of Californians demand quick and decisive action.

Let’s not forget the homeless epidemic, affordability of living and the illegal immigration crisis.
