I, along with countless others, find myself despairing and distressed by the ongoing shortage of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Estradot patches. For many women, despite the array of HRT types available, not all are viable options. The unique requirements, side effects, and individual responses to various HRT types mean that, for some, only one or two options fit. When one of these becomes unavailable due to medication shortages, women are left tormented by debilitating symptoms, sometimes even facing life-threatening situations.

The terrible stress, the physical discomfort, and the mental turmoil of those unable to access their necessary medication cannot be overstated. We call upon the government and relevant health bodies to heed to this serious issue, urgently address the shortage of Estradot HRT patches, and make them readily and reliably available. We ask that authorities conduct a comprehensive review of medication supplies, ensuring that there is a steady and secure availability of a broad range of HRT types, including Estradot, so that no woman is left helpless because her specific HRT type is unavailable.
