The 2022 Bipartisan Safer Communities Act has made $750 million over 5 years available to the states to create, facilitate, and promote red flag laws. Virginia is entitled to $5 million this year alone but Gov. Glenn Youngkin has refused to accept the funds.

Tragically, many states with red flag laws barely use them, even as shootings and gun deaths soar. Safer Country is demanding that Gov. Youngkin accepts and uses these funds to save lives.
