Happy Monday! We have over thirty thousand signatures (30,737) strong and growing! thank you all for signing. As I reach deeper into the abyss, the uglier it gets. I need to get through one thing that I keep stating:

This is a bipartisan movement! Much people are blaming both sides. Lets STOP!

If the Republicans were in control, I would be all over their sh!t. Lets stop focusing on what is done and start focusing what we can do. Thank you!

Still no response to call for special session from majority leaders :(

Elda, from Sandy Hook, has started a letter campaign herself. In part it reads "It is mind boggling that the State of CT enacts legislation that hamstrings itself in making
corrections when necessary and just passes the cost onto its citizens.  I don't want to
hear "it's not our fault."  I don't care whose fault it is, FIX IT!" 

Elda finishes saying "I am an unaffiliated voter who leans Democrat.  However, rest assured, if this problem cannot be resolved, I am voting Republican for the entire ticket at the next election."

Write to your reps! Be professional, polite, and respectful!  You can vent your frustrations on FB and other social media. Remember, our objective is to get results. Not to have our emails deleted. You can acheive better results this way.

I am going to address what our Gov said at his press conference. However, the focus is still the same. Paying for non ratepayers electric bill! Tariff as PURA calls it.

Govenor Lamont stated in has last press conference that he "hedge" gas company prices and part of the reason for this increase. He admited that this "seemed like a good idea at the time".

Hedging is a strategy in the commodity stock market mitigate losses in futures options pricing but is extremely risky. Is our Government doing this? Placing bets on energy futures? Can you elaborate how does hedging gas pricing and how it correlates with our electric bill? 

According to Norm Needleman (33rd District) to a letter to one of our supporters, Renee, he has stated this Public Benefit charge is 77% of the Millstone Power Plant owned by Dominion Energy. that has a 88 billion dollar valuation.  Why are we, the ratepayers, are giving money through Public Benefit when in fact Millstone power plant has been operational since 1975?  

This contract, according to representatives, is where 3/4 of the public benefits cost are allocated. Can anyone explain how this 77% is being appropiated?
