To:  WazirX, Zanmai Labs, and Indian Cybersecurity Authorities

We, the undersigned users and stakeholders of WazirX, demand full transparency and accountability regarding the July 2024 security breach that resulted in the loss of significant user funds.

The lack of detailed disclosure, the absence of a third-party audit report, and the proposal to settle through a restructured token scheme — without explaining how the breach occurred — raises serious concerns of:

• Gross negligence in cybersecurity monitoring, or
• Potential insider involvement in facilitating or ignoring the breach

We formally demand that WazirX/Zanmai Labs:

1. Release complete security audit logs from the time of the breach.
2. Disclose the exact technical nature of the exploit and how such a targeted attack was executed.
3. Commission an independent third-party cybersecurity firm to investigate and publish findings.
4. List all employees, ex-employees, and third-party vendors who had access to wallet keys, authentication servers, and security infrastructure

Why This Matters:
Before asking users to vote “YES” or “NO” on a restructuring scheme, WazirX must:

• Explain how this breach occurred
• Prove that it was external (not an inside job)
• Show that it has taken credible steps to secure user funds going forward
• We are not asking for a favor — we are demanding truth, justice, and accountability.

Until these demands are met, the trust of the Indian crypto community will remain broken.

Transparency is the minimum standard — not a privilege.
