Due to the increasing threat of global climate catastrophe brought on by fossil fuels (and the effects they have already had on the most vulnerable of the global South), many institutions have chosen to divest endowments and other student funds from financial funds associated with fossil fuels, in an effort to curb the effects of a 1.5°C global temperature rise.

We, undersigned, humbly request and petition that Berklee Administration publicly confirm or deny that Berklee's endowment and student tuition/fees are invested into funds associated with fossil fuels or fossil fuel-adjacent industries.
