To the Tyler County District Attorney’s Office,

 

We, the undersigned, are writing to demand full prosecution in the animal cruelty case involving Ashley McFadden and Timothy Brockman.

 

According to reports, more than 80 dogs were rescued from inhumane conditions, while over 100 are feared dead. These animals were allegedly confined without food, water, or proper shelter—conditions that, if proven, constitute severe and prolonged suffering.

 

We respectfully urge the District Attorney’s Office to:

 

- File all applicable charges under Texas Penal Code §42.092

- Treat this case as a pattern of ongoing abuse, not a single incident

- Pursue separate counts for each animal affected

- Seek felony charges and all applicable enhancements

- Pursue maximum penalties, including a lifetime ban on animal ownership

- Require restitution for rescue groups and caregivers

 

This case has deeply impacted the public and the rescue community. We ask that it be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law to ensure justice for the animals and to prevent future abuse.
