Dear Northern Nevada Soccer Community,

I'm writing to share serious concerns about Gustavo, a referee for our local soccer games, whose actions threaten the safety and integrity of our sport.

Gustavo often arrives late to games, disrupting schedules and undermining the professionalism expected of referees. More troubling are his inconsistent calls, which make games unfair and put players at risk by failing to enforce crucial safety rules.

Furthermore, there are reports of Gustavo abusing his power, creating an environment that damages respect and trust. This misuse of authority is contrary to the fairness and integrity required in a referee.

We are calling for a thorough review of Gustavo’s conduct. If these issues are confirmed, corrective actions should include suspension, retraining, and increased oversight. Addressing these conce,rns is vital, as they impact the safety and development of our children, adult and young adult players. Soccer should promote teamwork, respect, and fitness, in a safe, fair environment.

Gustavos conduct has been an issue for years and lack of perspective and playing experience endangers anyone while he's officiating. This issue effects our soccer in College, High School, Recreational, and youth leagues. 
We are gathering petition signatures to show our united request for immediate action. We hope you will prioritize this matter to uphold the integrity and safety of our games.
