Many have come to Wake GOP for help addressing the lavish spending of the Town Council while our taxes continue to go up. Citizens of Cary are being taxed out of their homes while some Town employees  and council members live extravagantly off the public dime. We deserve to know who is using our tax dollars for personal benefit. This is not just about financial prudence; it’s about accountability and transparency. The public has the right to know.

The State Auditor's report has revealed discrepancies concerning credit card numbers, specifically P-cards used by the Town of Cary employees. Wake GOP and the following signatories demand that the Town of Cary disclose the names connected to these credit card numbers. 

Moreover, questions have arisen surrounding various purchases made through venues like Amazon. Such purchases remain unexplained and possibly extraneous. We call upon the Town Council to conduct a thorough audit of these expenditures. Any fashion in which Town employees have overstepped  protocols by making inappropriate or unauthorized purchases should be met with a fair mandate for refunding these costs to the Town of Cary.

It's time for the Town Council to uphold their responsibility to their constituents by ensuring that all unchecked expenditures are duly scrutinized and made public.
