As a loving family, we are faced with an unfortunate event involving our family dog. A many months ago, our dog was unknowingly placed into the care of an unfamiliar party while I was temporarily detained by law enforcement with no charge. Our dog, known for its soft nature and deep familial ties, experienced an inexplicable incident which resulted in a bite on a passerby. This incident was distressing enough, and to make matters worse, our dog was confiscated by the authorities.

This action was taken despite undertaken assessments by authorized bodies confirming our dog is not dangerous. Instead of returning our beloved pet, we are required to go to court to reclaim him—an emotionally draining and costly process. This is particularly unjust when considering that at the time of the incident, our dog was not in our care.
