As a dedicated Riftbound player and collector in Europe, I've become increasingly frustrated by the growing number of promotional cards and limited bundles that are only officially available in specific regions, such as the United States or China. While Riftbound is being built as a global trading card game, many players outside those regions have no official opportunity to obtain these collectibles.

A recent example is the Gen Con 2026 Riven promotional card and the Secret Garden bundle. For players outside North America, the only options are often to miss out entirely or purchase them from scalpers at heavily inflated prices. This doesn't just affect collectors—it creates unnecessary barriers for loyal players who want to support the game through official channels.

This petition is not about removing convention-exclusive rewards or taking away the unique experience of attending events. Convention attendees should absolutely continue to receive exclusive items and early access as part of those experiences.

Instead, we are asking Riot Games to provide a fair and official way for players in Europe and other underserved regions to access these promotional items as well. This could be achieved through regional conventions, Organized Play rewards, a limited online release after the event, or other regionally appropriate distribution methods. The exact solution is up to Riot—we simply want every supported region to have a reasonable opportunity to participate.

Riftbound has a passionate and growing community across the world. A global game deserves a distribution strategy that reflects its global player base, allowing fans to support the game directly instead of relying on the secondary market.
