I am deeply disturbed by the fact that Facebook, a platform I use daily, allows videos of baby monkey abuse, torture, and killing to be posted. It is beyond horrendous for such a widely used social media platform to permit any form of animal abuse content. This not only promotes cruelty but also provides abusers with a space to share their horrific acts of violence towards innocent creatures.

According to the Animal Welfare Institute, millions of animals are abused every year around the world. The proliferation of such disturbing content on platforms like Facebook contributes significantly to this issue by normalizing and encouraging these heinous acts (source: Animal Welfare Institute).

Facebook has an ethical responsibility towards its users and society at large. It must ensure that it does not become an accomplice in promoting animal cruelty by allowing such content on its platform.

We urge Mark Zuckerberg and his team at Facebook Inc., to take immediate action in banning all videos showcasing baby monkey abuse or any form of animal cruelty from their site. This step will send a strong message that they stand against animal abuse and are committed to creating a safe online environment for all users.
