I, along with my friends, have been victims of scamming on Facebook. We reported the incident, hoping for swift action from the responsible platform. However, to our dismay, no action was taken and the scammer's page remains active.

This is not an isolated case. According to a report by Comparitech (2020), around 1.3 billion fake profiles were created on Facebook between 2014 and 2020; many of these are used for fraudulent activities. Despite numerous reports from users across the globe about such scams, there seems to be a lack of effective response from Facebook/Meta.

The current situation is unacceptable as it puts users' security at risk and undermines trust in the platform. Therefore, we demand that Facebook/Meta take immediate steps towards addressing this issue effectively.

We urge them to:

1) Improve their system for handling reported complaints about scams.
2) Take prompt action against identified scammers.
3) Implement more robust measures to prevent such fraudulent activities in future.
