We have a double standard in the American justice system, and it is costing people their lives and freedom.

Why are we protecting jobs with more legal vigor than we protect human liberty?

• Common Sense Justice: Reducing costly, avoidable errors by ensuring every person has a fair voice in their defense.

A paycheck should never have more rights than a person. It is time to fix the scales.
