As passionate fans of the iconic childhood film Shrek, we marvelled at the unique and memorable animation style that the series continued to hold throughout its journey.

Today, we feel deeply unsettled and hurt by what we witnessed in the new trailer for Shrek 5.

The slick, polished animation has replaced the original's quirky charm, losing its essence and giving us what looks like a computer-generated imposter of our beloved green ogre.

This is not just about looks; it's about preserving the artistic integrity of a film that has cemented its place in cinematic history.

 Shrek is voted by Rolling Stone as one of the '100 greatest movies of the 2000s' due to its groundbreaking animation and heartfelt storytelling.

This unjustifiable shift from the iconic animation style tarnishes Shrek's legacy, disappointing its millions of fans worldwide.

We therefore kindly urge Dreamworks to consider our plea and bring back the original animation style for Shrek 5. Join us in protecting the essence of our beloved ogre and safeguarding our fond memories.
