Well “folks”, when Doug Ford said Ontario was “open for business” who would have imagined that he meant his government could be bought and sold? But according to new reporting, Ford cabinet member, MPP Kaleed Rasheed along with Ford’s current housing policy director, seem to have booked massages in Las Vegas, with developer Shakir Rehmatullah, who just happens to be one of the most significant beneficiaries of the (brown envelope) Greenbelt land windfall. 

Of course Rehmatullah claims this was all just a big coincidence. Just a freak stroke of luck in a city that hates winners. Well, Rehmatullah hit the jackpot. 

Meanwhile, Rasheed, with his Vegas junket now coming under the microscope of the Integrity Commissioner, has turned in his resignation.  For those keeping score at home, he is the 3rd Ford Government official to resign in disgrace over this land grab. A deal that must be placed under a court injunction until such time as a full criminal investigation takes place.
