We are long-time fans of Disneyland and its iconic animatronics, particularly Murphy, the dragon from Fantasmic! Over time, Murphy has become one of the most beloved figures in Disneyland history. However, it saddens us to learn that Murphy was lost due to a fire malfunction as we approach the 70th anniversary of this magical place.

Disneyland is not just an amusement park; It's a place where dreams come true and memories are made. For many of us who grew up with these characters and shows, they hold a special place in our hearts. The presence of animatronics like Murphy adds to the magic that makes Disneyland unique.

Murphy was introduced in 2009 and quickly became a fan favorite due to her impressive size—standing at 45 feet tall—and her ability to breathe fire. Her absence would be deeply felt by fans worldwide.

On this occasion marking seven decades since Disneyland first opened its doors, it seems fitting that we honor its history by restoring one of its most iconic figures. We urge Disney to rebuild Murphy for all fans old and new who continue to find joy in these magical experiences.
