Greyhounds are routinely abused/murdered when they're no longer of any use and it's actually legal for them to be killed with a bolt gun by anyone as long as the person is the owner or at least claims to be. No other dog is allowed to be subject to this horrific act so why should Greyhounds allowed to be most of which are gentle loving goofballs who just want to be loved and happy and allowed to live our their days abuse free like any other animal. The fact that they are allowed to be killed with a bolt gun seems they are regarded more like livestock than dogs

Demand Defra holds an immediate investigation to find why the Greyhound Board (greyhound racing industry regulators) didn't find the Rebecca Perkins dogs before some had reached their deaths and others on the verge of death due to starvation. 

Ask Defra to make enquiries with ALL greyhound trainers and give them anonymity as there are claims amongst the pro racing community that a GBGB stipendiary steward was warned before things advanced at the Perkins kennel however they say these trainers are too frightened to speak out publicly due to potential threats against them.
