There is an urgent humanitarian crisis unfolding in northern Ethiopia that requires immediate action. The Tigray region is being devastated by a man-made famine resulting from the two-year Tigray war. Over 600,000 civilians have been killed, with 408,000 deaths caused specifically by starvation and food insecurity.

The famine is rapidly worsening. More and more people are dying every day, yet the world is unaware. During the war, humanitarian aid was blocked from entering Tigray. Vital crops were destroyed by soldiers, followed by locust infestations. This famine could surpass the one in 1977 that killed millions.

Innocent women and children are suffering the most. We cannot stand by and allow this to continue. Please sign this petition to demand crucial humanitarian access and aid be allowed into Tigray before the death toll rises even higher. The international community must act now to provide food, medicine, and other life-saving resources.
