The Issue

The issue at hand is deeply personal to me because Stray Kids, a band whose music and artistry have brought joy and inspiration to countless fans around the globe, including myself, are now facing a situation where their hard work is being overshadowed. Anya Kay, an individual who has a history of stalking one of their members, Hyunjin, took it a step further by recreating the album cover of Stray Kids’ *Go Live* in her release titled “Eat It.”

It is disheartening to see such blatant imitation without any acknowledgment of the original creators. Stray Kids have devoted countless hours to producing an album that not only resonates with their fans but also pushes artistic boundaries. Their commitment deserves recognition and respect, and failing to give them credit undermines their efforts.

This petition is crucial because it calls for both the removal of the offending cover or, at the very least, appropriate credits to be attributed to Stray Kids and their creative team. By doing so, we empower artists and recognize their invaluable contributions to the music industry.

Copying someone’s work without proper credit is not just an infringement of artistic integrity, it's a violation of trust between artists and their audience. We need to stand together and ensure that artists like Stray Kids are recognized for their originality and hard work. Let’s take a stand to protect creative expression and demand that Anya Kay either removes her imitation cover or acknowledges the true inspiration behind it.

Join me in this cause and sign this petition. Together, we can ensure that the rights and respect of artists are maintained and that the creativity of future artists is protected.
