My neighbors and I encounter difficulties in our day-to-day lives due to limited broadband access in our locale. Our work, schooling, property values and even our home safety are seriously hindered by an inadequate internet connection. High-speed internet is no longer a luxury; but a necessity, critical for all spheres of life in this digital age.

Access to reliable, fast broadband is more than just connecting to the internet. It impacts academically, where our children often struggle to complete online assignments effectively. Professionally, our ability to work from home is considerably compromised. The value of our homes is negatively affected by this lack of basic utility, not to mention the security installment and systems that rely on good internet connectivity for optimal functioning. 

According to a study by Microsoft, more than 157 million Americans do not use the internet at broadband speeds. This isn't just about us, it's a nationwide problem that needs remedying. Our county government has a responsibility to create conditions that allow every resident to succeed, which includes investing in the digital infrastructure to provide effective broadband access.

We want the local authorities to recognize the benefits of connectivity and the potential it holds for economic growth and prosperity. High-speed internet is fundamental for sustainable economic and social development in our area.
