Demand Congress Introduce Amendment XXVIII: Abolish Race as a Legal Category Forever
The Issue
The Lie
Race is not real. It is a lie.
Forged in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus, weaponized for centuries by taxonomists, philosophers, craniologists, eugenicists and politicians, race has never been biology. Modern science – genetics, anthropology, biochemistry – has buried it. Lewontin’s 85/15 rule, clinal gradients, GWAS failures and the complete absence of discrete racial clusters prove there are no biological races. Only variation. Only humanity.
Yet the United States government still classifies every citizen by race on censuses, forms, laws, hiring, admissions, redistricting and benefits.
This fiction does not heal division; it deepens it.
It perpetuates the prison built on a lie: checkboxes that sort destiny, policies that assume incapacity by skin color, contradictions that flip exclusion into “equity” while keeping the bars intact.
The Human Toll
The human toll is undeniable: Middle Passage horrors, plantation mathematics, lynch mobs, Jim Crow, convict leasing, redlining, mass incarceration.
Disproportionate outcomes masked as “systemic racism” while class, culture and geography explain far more.
The 7‑Book Series – “The Fatigue of Racism”
The full, evidence‑based argument is laid out in seven books.
Available on Google Play Books now for free: https://play.google.com/store/books/series?id=OHGtHAAAABCUbM
Each book supplies a distinct evidentiary thread – scientific, historical, administrative, class‑based, medical, aspirational, political and personal – woven together into a rope that cannot be snapped by any single objection.
Book 1 – The Foundational Case (scientific, historical, legal)
Book 2 – The Administrative Prison (bureaucratic, institutional)
Book 3 – The Class Alternative (policy, economic)
Book 4 – The Other Box (medical, epidemiological)
Book 5 – Beyond the Pale (aspirational, operational)
Book 6 – The Identity Trap Reversed (political, cultural)
Book 7 – Negative Infinity (personal, spiritual)

The Standalone Companion – “The Caldwell Model: The Class Alternative"

The Caldwell Model is a policy framework designed to abolish the use of race in federal programs.
Instead of asking "What is your race?" it asks: "What is your income? Where do you live? Can you document your harm?"
Built on five pillars—child allowance, universal healthcare, universal pre‑K, tuition‑free college, and place‑based investment—the model targets the actual mechanisms of poverty.
It does not ignore discrimination; it enforces anti‑discrimination law through individual evidence, paired testing, and documented harm.
The result is a system that is more precise, more constitutional, and more just than the current race‑based regime.
It proves that class‑based preferences can break the self‑fulfilling prophecy of statistical discrimination – without the reification, stigma and constitutional vulnerability of race‑based policies.
The Amendment
The fiction must end.
We, the people, call upon Congress to introduce and pass Amendment XXVIII to the United States Constitution:
Section 1. No person shall be classified, categorized, identified or treated by any federal, state or local government entity on the basis of race, color, ethnicity or any derivative thereof, for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to: census enumeration; legislative apportionment; districting or redistricting; admission, hiring, promotion or contracting; eligibility for public benefits, grants, loans or contracts; data collection, reporting or analysis; any form of preferential treatment, remedy or penalty.
Section 2. All existing federal, state and local laws, regulations, policies, forms, databases and practices that classify, categorize or identify persons by race, color, ethnicity or any derivative thereof are hereby declared null and void and shall be repealed, amended or eliminated within five years of ratification.
Section 3. Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Section 4. Tribal sovereignty carve‑out – preserves tribal enrollment and federal trust obligations; “Native American” shall not be used as a race proxy outside that narrow context.
What This Amendment Does Not Do
It does not erase history. It ends the state’s role in perpetuating a false biological reality.
It does not ban private beliefs or cultural pride. It bans the government from sorting citizens into racial destiny boxes.
Alternatives Exist and Work
Class‑based aid (University of California post‑Prop 209: Black enrollment rose via socioeconomic proxies)
Geographic reparations (Evanston, IL 2021 program: \$5 million distributed by historical redlining records, no racial criteria)
Individual‑injury lawsuits (disparate treatment proven by evidence, not group membership)
Poverty and access metrics (Boston hospitals reduced maternal mortality disparities 25 % without racial data)
The Call to Action
We are not asking for permission. We are demanding the conversation.
Sign this petition to:
1. Force every U.S. Representative and Senator to publicly state their position on Amendment XXVIII.
2. Demand co‑sponsorship or introduction of the amendment.
3. Show that millions refuse to live inside the lie any longer.
No more checkboxes. No more fatigue. No more prison.
