I’m baffled by the contradictions we see every day. How can people who are so vocal about the sanctity of life outside abortion clinics not show the same energy when it comes to feeding our kids? It’s heartbreaking to think that some individuals prioritize their protests over ensuring children have what they need to eat and thrive. If we truly care about life, shouldn’t that care extend to making sure every child has access to nutritious meals?

Let’s talk about the bigger picture. We live in the United States, a country with incredible resources, yet many children still go hungry. These are the same children we’re trying to protect and cherish. There’s no excuse for a nation as powerful as ours to let this disparity continue. If we really want to demonstrate that we value life, we have to start by ensuring every child has access to free school lunches. This should be a fundamental right.

By funding free school lunches nationwide, Congress can take a significant step in supporting families and promoting child welfare. It's a chance to shift our focus from just protecting life to enhancing it at every stage. Feeding children is a basic, necessary action that can help bridge the gaps in our current system. Imagine the impact if every child could focus on learning without worrying about where their next meal will come from.

We need systemic change that aligns our actions with our values. By addressing child hunger head-on, we create a more equitable society where all kids have the opportunity to succeed. Let’s hold our representatives accountable. Let them know we want more than just words; we want concrete policies that reflect our shared values of compassion and care for every child.

Sign this petition to demand that Congress fund free school lunches nationwide. Together, let's show that we believe in caring for children at every stage of their lives.
