Thank you to everyone who signed and shared our petition. Charlene Tabet resigned from the Board of Education effective yesterday. We look forward to learning more about next steps when the results of the criminal investigation and third-party BUSD investigation are released to the public. 

Moving forward, our primary focus is on our BUSD students. To that end, we hope our petition signers will support community efforts and ballot measures to raise needed funds for our District and students. We also urge you to support efforts to move our Board of Ed seats back to a more democratic "at-large" system to improve accountability and make sure Board members represent the interests of all BUSD students.
