CONSULTATIONS WHICH ALWAYS TURN OUT TO BE JUST THE VOICE OF TORY MPs
The Government is to launch a consultation into the privatisation of the channel, which was founded in 1982 to deliver to under-served audiences.
It is currently owned by the Government and receives its funding from advertising but could be sold off to a private buyer.
Who would buy it?
Potential investors would likely include big American companies."...

The consultation will also review the regulation of streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video.
It will consider whether new rules around impartiality and accuracy are needed for documentaries and news content on the platforms to “level the playing field” with broadcasters, who are regulated by the watchdog Ofcom."...
VOTERS ONLY GET VOTING INFORMATION FROM TELEVISION
Voters do not read party election manifestos.
Only television is the source of voters' information on political parties and voting. At the moment all of them is just the Tory viewpoint, with Tory clone Labour and Lib Dems.
The government wants no challenge from the media, proven by them saying ... "moving Channel 4 into private ownership and changing its remit ”....
New parties on the Left do not get any fair regular television coverage, to give them even the whisker of a chance to start.
Today, the other public broadcaster, BBC can make lies by omission by not informing that no party other than Tories have been ruling government and so law and money policy since 2010. My complaint on that has been ignored so far.
Pension campaigners could refute and challenge all the lies and deceit said about pension reform (actually the abolition of retirement) and generalisations made about pensioners, whatever the politics, elected or unelected.
Please widely share this petition, for your family and friends to sign, to demand Channel 4 Television (self funding public broadcaster) gives full, free and regular access to new parties on the Left and to 1950s (and now 1960s born) pension campaigners. Before even that television is lost to mere government propaganda, the voice only of very rich men.
