The culture secretary, Oliver Dowden, confirmed on Thursdayn(13 May 2021) that Channel 4 could be sold by the end of the current parliament to “provide a sustainable future for the broadcaster”.
During a meeting of the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport select committee, Dowden repeated that privatisation of Channel 4 was “on the table” as part of a government review of public service broadcasting first announced in October 2020.

All television and newspapers are purely Tory in viewpoint. Even the most far right little party gets lots of coverage.
Labour and Lib Dems and even Greens tend to work together, especially in councils, with Tory government austerity cuts.
Demand Channel 4 television now gives, full, free and regular access to Democratic Socialist parties (Corbynite socialism).
