Newspapers are in terminal decline and mainstream television is losing viewers
NEWSPAPERS OF THE RICH DO NOT PUBLICLY PUBLISH CIRCULATION ANY MORE
The Times and The Telegraph is not publicly audited in circulation by ABC, that audits the rest. The Telegraph only had 6,757 new subscriptions in August 2020.
The Financial Times, although growing back a bit, as lockdown is eased, had circulation drop of 42 per cent from last year.
GENERAL NEWSPAPERS FALL IN CIRCULATION
The I News circulated a third less than last year.
The Metro lost 64 per cent than last year.
The Observer and Mail on Sunday fell by 10 per cent and 11 per cent each.
All the main newspapers fell between 18 per cent to 64 per cent less circulation than last year.
BBC LOSES LICENCE PAYERS
THE BBC has lost nearly £40million in income as 237,000 less households are paying the licence fee than they did last year.

Channel 4 is 2nd most popular television channel, at 74 per cent of viewers.
And now, whilst younger people are in lockdown, which could return, as this 2nd Covid19 contagion surge increases, with doctors saying the peak will come end October / beginning November -

"There has been 38% year-on-year growth in the number of 16 to 34-year-olds tuning in to the channel."...
But when it comes to news programmes, there are still more people aged over 65 watching news on Channel 4 than any other age group. With about the same viewers as BBC 1 and ITV news, in the two age groups of 45-54 and to 55-64, so it would also be ideal for pension campaign groups, demanding pension policies of new socialist parties.
New socialist parties are the best hope for pension justice, to save older lives, shown by the published support by Chris Williamson in his socialist movement, waiting to become a party, for policies of -
- pension age 60 men and women, and
- increased decent, living amount of state pension money for all pensioners.
