We are employees at WhiteHat Jr, a company acquired by Byjus in August 2020. The new name of this department was given as Byjus Future School. For quite some time now, Byjus has failed to meet its financial obligations towards teachers, sales teams, technical teams, and so on. We have not been paid, and the company has been deducting 10% from our earnings each month for taxes, which as it appears, hasn't been remitted to the government as we have not received our Form 16 for financial year 2023-2024. 

This issue does not affect teachers alone, as many students' fees amounting to thousands of dollars are also stuck without any response or refunds from the company. Despite this grave situation, the company continues to schedule classes without any proper payments or updates. It is not just about our hard-earned wages, but also the trust of parents and students that is at stake.

Exact figures may not be available, but we know that this issue stretches across the thousands of teachers employed and millions of students enrolled. This situation is particularly unbearable considering that we are educators, dedicated to shaping young minds, and deserve to be treated fairly.

The silence from the upper management and the continued neglect from the company have prompted me to raise this issue on a larger platform. Therefore, this petition calls on Byjus to clear all dues, pay the pending salaries and taxes, and answer all questions about stuck payments and refunds. We demand transparency, timely and just payment, and above all, respect for our profession.

Summary-

-> Byju's (Think & Learn Pvt. Ltd.) is undergoing liquidation, and WhiteHat Jr. is not being acknowledged as part of the company.

-> WhiteHat Jr. has no senior management left within Byju's to represent its interests, as we are not being mentioned in any legal communications by liquidator(Interim Resolution Professional), Judiciary of India.

-> Tax fraud involving thousands of employees, as Byju's scammed the Indian government and employees by not paying taxes and providing Form-16.

-> Thousand of parents and students have been defrauded, with fees collected and no refund requests being entertained anymore.

-> Employees of WhiteHat Jr., acquired by Byju's, have not been paid for months and are excluded from any official communications anymore.
