Demand Brevard County Road and Bridge Department to Pave or Maintain Satellite Blvd Safely

The Issue

I'm a resident of Brevard County, living along Satellite Blvd. This road is the lifeline of our community and it is in an unsafe condition year round. Its current state is posing a threat not only to our vehicles but to our lives as well. The road is causing excessive suspension and steering wear on vehicles, plaguing us with high repair costs and potential accidents. What's more alarming is that our children are also at risk. The Brevard County School Board has expressed concerns about the safety of the bus route picking up children in our area due to the road condition.

This is a great matter that we cannot ignore. As taxpayers, we deserve safe and well-maintained roads. We must call on to the Brevard County Road and Bridge Department to perform their crucial duty to pave or properly maintain Satellite Blvd.

Fiscal Year Adopted Budget 2024-2025
The adopted budget for fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024 and ending September 30, 2025 is $ 2,250,925,875. Guided by the Board of County Commissioners' direction, the adopted budget exemplifies the Board's dedication to providing responsive, quality services to residents, maintaining fiscal sustainability, and decreasing property tax rates. Through strategic decision-making and planning, Brevard County stands poised to meet current needs and future challenges, while striving to enhance community well-being and quality of life. The Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget is dependent upon long-term investments and seeks to fortify and enhance the foundation necessary for Brevard County to thrive as a resilient and vibrant community.

Please, let's ensure safety for all, take a stance against negligence and support this initiative by signing this petition.
