Demand Botanic Leasing Company to Refund Rent Due to Uninhabitable Conditions

Demand Botanic Leasing Company to Refund Rent Due to Uninhabitable Conditions
The Issue
I, a resident of Carteret, NJ, USA, am writing this petition out of personal distress and concern for my fellow tenants. I have been injured in the building leased by the Botanic Leasing Company due to its poor conditions. This is not just about me; it's about all of us who have suffered because of the company's negligence.
The property was advertised as being in good condition and safe for living. However, upon moving in, we found that this was far from the truth. The building is plagued with numerous safety hazards and uninhabitable conditions that pose a serious risk to our health and well-being. I have personally experienced issues with heating, faulty shower doors, false fire alarms at all hours of the night, and possible mold exposure.
According to a report by the National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH), approximately 30 million homes in America have significant physical infrastructure problems such as water leaks, damaged interior walls or inadequate heating systems which can lead to injuries or illnesses (source: NCHH). Unfortunately, our building falls into this category.
We are not asking for anything unreasonable; merely that Botanic Leasing Company takes responsibility for their false advertising and refunds our money due to these uninhabitable conditions. We deserve safe housing - it's a basic human right.
Please sign this petition if you believe that tenants should be treated fairly and protected from unsafe living conditions. Together we can hold Botanic Leasing Company accountable!
