Demand Better Management for Stray Kids from JYP Entertainment’s Division 1
The Issue
Stray Kids deserve better.
The way Stray Kids are managed by JYP Entertainment’s Division 1 has become a growing concern for many fans. Over time, concerns have been raised regarding the members’ health and well-being, working conditions, safety, individual opportunities, promotion and communication with management.
These concerns should not be dismissed as isolated incidents. The eight members of Stray Kids dedicate an enormous amount of time and effort to their work, and they deserve proper support, protection, respect and professional management in return.
We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for basic standards of responsible artist management: adequate rest, reasonable schedules, appropriate support when members face health or personal difficulties, safe working conditions, fair opportunities for individual growth, and clear communication between the members and their management.
Management should also respond to situations involving the members proportionately and responsibly. Minor incidents during performances should not receive disproportionate attention while more important concerns affecting the members’ well-being remain unresolved.
This petition calls on JYP Entertainment’s Division 1 to acknowledge these concerns and make meaningful, lasting improvements to the way all eight members of Stray Kids are managed, supported and protected.
OUR 8 DEMANDS
1. Prioritize the health, safety and well-being of all Stray Kids members.
2. Provide adequate rest, reasonable schedules and proper working conditions.
3. Provide immediate and appropriate support when members are injured, ill or facing personal or professional difficulties.
4. Ensure fair and consistent opportunities, promotion and career development for every member.
5. Improve communication with the members and provide clear, timely responses to issues affecting them.
6. Strengthen safety protocols and staff supervision across all schedules, performances and public events.
7. Address repeated concerns about management practices and implement concrete, measurable changes to better protect and support Stray Kids.
8. Stop disproportionately reprimanding members for minor incidents during performances and prioritize their well-being instead.
