I am a school bus driver with 11 years of experience and a lifelong resident of Bunker Hill, WV. Every day, I witness the deteriorating conditions of Three Run Rd - a road that has been my daily route for over a decade. The road has significantly worsened over the years, with only small potholes being patched. We have lost several feet of roadway, particularly around the S-Turn area which has become extremely dangerous.

The current state of this road is not only damaging to our vehicles but also poses significant safety risks for larger vehicles such as school buses, dump trucks, delivery trucks & garbage trucks. These vehicles struggle to stay in their lane without causing damage due to overgrown brush and trees along the roadside.

Over the past 20 years, there has been an increase in traffic on this road due to new homes being built. Despite this growth and increased usage, no significant improvements have been made on Three Run Rd.

We are calling on Berkeley County State Road Department to take immediate action by widening and repaving all sections of Three Run Rd and cutting brush/tree limbs higher along the roadside that obstructs larger vehicles from staying within their lanes safely.

This is not just about improving our daily commute; it's about ensuring safety for all who use this vital roadway in our community.
