I am currently a student at AUM University, and I have personally experienced the immense pressure and difficulty of our current examination conditions. Recently, we were only allocated 50 minutes to complete a comprehensive midterm, leaving us with less than a minute to answer each question. This is an insufficient amount of time to thoroughly demonstrate our understanding and perform to the best of our abilities.

Midterms are a significant part of our academic journey, influencing our final grades and overall success in our courses. However, the current time constraint doesn't allow us to engage with the questions thoughtfully and to present well-reasoned answers. As students who are dedicated to our academic careers, we believe we deserve a fair opportunity to showcase our knowledge without the added stress of an impractical time limit.

Research suggests that a more adequate timeframe for exams can significantly improve performance and reduce anxiety among students. Similar exams in other universities are often allotted at least 90 minutes, a standard we strongly believe should be adopted here as well.

By extending the midterm exam duration to 90 minutes, AUM University would not only enhance the fairness and integrity of its evaluations but also support the well-being and academic growth of its students.
