I have lived in Timberville, Virginia for over 2 years. My family and other interracial families and their children have been targeted and victimized. I have personally reached out for help and have been denied any true justice in these matters. This is the second time that I’ve had a family pet targeted/maimed. This time Figaro did not make it. He was ran over several times, according to a neighbor’s account, but no one in the community seems to know who is responsible. I have not had the heart to tell my sons that I had to surrender him to animal control to be put down as he could not survive his injuries. 
I have photos of the tire tracks and the site where Figaro was lying. 
I have asked 3 times now for an investigation and it doesn’t seem like I’m being taken seriously. No previous matters were addressed even after I provided proof of property damage, false reports, etc. 

As a result of the targeting, my children have been removed from my home. My heart is already broken after being seperated from my loved ones and recently losing my baby sister.

Figaro was our family pet. 

Please help me demand an investigation into hate crimes, animal cruelty, and domestic terrorism/racial targeting in Rockingham County Virginia.
