The Issue

We are asking Massachusetts authorities to take a fresh, independent look at the evidence.
Three children lost their lives. Their families, their community, and the public deserve confidence that every reasonable investigative avenue has been fully and independently examined.

We are calling on the Massachusetts Attorney General, Massachusetts State Police, and other appropriate independent investigative authorities to conduct a comprehensive review of the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Cora, Dawson, and Callan Clancy, including any evidence concerning the possible involvement or criminal responsibility of their father, Patrick Clancy.

This petition does not declare Patrick Clancy guilty.

We are asking for something more fundamental:

Investigate. Follow the evidence. Pursue the truth. And if the evidence establishes probable cause and supports criminal charges, prosecute the appropriate person or persons under the law.

WHAT WE ARE DEMANDING
We respectfully ask Massachusetts authorities to:

1. Conduct an independent investigation
Request that an appropriate state-level or independent investigative agency conduct a comprehensive review of the circumstances surrounding the children's deaths, separate from any potential limitations or conclusions of the original investigation.

2. Re-examine the complete timeline
Establish and independently verify the timeline of events before, during, and after the deaths, including the movements, communications, actions, and whereabouts of individuals who may have relevant information.

3. Review ALL available evidence
Examine all potentially relevant:

Forensic evidence
DNA evidence
Medical and autopsy records
Digital evidence
Cell-phone records
Text messages and communications
Computer and internet records
Financial records where legally relevant
Surveillance and security footage
Photographs and videos
911 and emergency communications
Witness statements
Police reports
Evidence collected from the scene
Prior investigative findings
Any newly discovered information
4. Investigate unresolved questions
Identify any significant discrepancies, unanswered questions, conflicting evidence, or investigative leads that may warrant additional examination.

5. Interview relevant witnesses again when appropriate
If an independent review identifies material inconsistencies or previously unexplored information, investigators should have the authority to conduct additional interviews or follow-up investigations as permitted by law.

6. Preserve evidence
Ensure that potentially relevant physical and digital evidence is preserved so that it remains available for independent examination and any future criminal proceedings.

7. Follow the evidence wherever it leads
No individual should be presumed guilty.

No individual should be presumed innocent of a particular allegation simply because an earlier investigation reached a particular conclusion.

The evidence should determine where the investigation goes.

8. Prosecute if the evidence supports it
If an independent investigation establishes probable cause and sufficient admissible evidence that Patrick Clancy—or any other person—committed a criminal offense, we ask that the appropriate prosecuting authority consider and pursue the legally appropriate charges.

If the evidence does not support criminal charges, that conclusion should likewise be based upon a thorough and independent examination of the evidence.

WHY THIS MATTERS
Three children cannot speak for themselves.

Cora, Dawson, and Callan deserve an investigation that leaves no reasonable question unanswered.

Their families deserve answers.

The public deserves confidence that the investigation was complete.

And our justice system depends upon one fundamental principle:

Evidence must be followed wherever it leads.

This petition is not asking the public to decide guilt.

That decision belongs to investigators, prosecutors, and ultimately the courts.

We are asking authorities to make sure that those decisions are based upon the fullest possible investigation of the facts and evidence.

WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR A RUSH TO JUDGMENT
Signing this petition does not mean declaring Patrick Clancy guilty.

It means asking for an independent examination of whether additional investigation is warranted.

If the evidence clears him, that matters.

If the evidence establishes criminal responsibility, that matters.

Either way, the truth matters.

HAVE INFORMATION OR EVIDENCE?
If you personally possess information that you believe could be relevant to the investigation, do not post private information, photographs, videos, addresses, phone numbers, medical records, or allegations publicly in the petition comments.

Instead, preserve the original material and provide it directly to an appropriate law-enforcement agency or attorney.

Potentially relevant information could include:

Original photographs or videos
Messages or communications
Firsthand observations
Information concerning the timeline of events
Records that may contradict or clarify publicly reported events
Information about potential witnesses
Other firsthand evidence that you believe investigators may not have considered
Do not alter, edit, delete, or redistribute original evidence.

Do not confront or contact potential witnesses or persons involved in the case.

If you believe you have evidence of a crime or information that could materially assist an investigation, contact the appropriate law-enforcement authority directly.

OUR REQUEST
We respectfully ask the Massachusetts Attorney General, Massachusetts State Police, and other appropriate authorities:

Open an independent review.

Examine the complete evidence.

Investigate every credible lead.

Preserve relevant evidence.

Determine whether additional investigation is warranted.

And if the evidence establishes criminal responsibility and supports prosecution:

Bring the appropriate charges, regardless of who the evidence identifies.

SIGN THIS PETITION
Sign if you believe that the deaths of Cora, Dawson, and Callan Clancy deserve a complete, independent, evidence-based examination.

We are not asking for a predetermined outcome.

We are asking for the truth to be determined by the evidence.
