The Issue

My wife is a dedicated special education teacher, and like many educators, we are deeply concerned about potential federal funding cuts that could endanger critical programs. As constituents of Arizona’s 8th Congressional District, we have repeatedly tried to share our concerns with Representative Abe Hamadeh, only to be met with automated replies and a full voicemail box.

During his last recess, Rep. Hamadeh claimed to have met with constituents—but no public events were on his schedule, no town hall. When members of Northwest Valley Indivisible attempted to peacefully meet with him, they were ignored by his office and turned away by police. No town hall. No dialogue. No accountability.

Here's what he said in a recent email to voters:

  • "I had the chance to spend this week in the district. The enthusiasm for the work we are doing is off the charts. I met so many constituents and advocates who are excited about the America First agenda and the changes it is producing for our country."

We have a word for a lie that big. 🐂💩

Engaging with constituents is not a privilege—it’s his duty. Public representatives should listen, answer questions, and address concerns face-to-face.

📣 We demand that Rep. Hamadeh hold an in-person town hall during his next recess in March.

Sign this petition to hold him accountable and demand a town hall. Let’s ensure our voices are heard, our concerns are addressed, and our leaders answer to the people they serve.
