My sister is one of many students who is suffering due to an online learning platform called iReady. This program, intended to offer personalized learning pathways, has instead led to extreme cases of stress and even panic attacks in some students. My sister is one of those affected, having suffered a panic attack as a result of the pressure and anxiety induced by iReady.

In addition to my sister's story, research indicates that excessive screen time, particularly in educational settings, can lead to heightened levels of stress in learners (Pew Research Center, 2018). Consequently, it's not surprising that anxiety-related disorders linked to digital learning environments like iReady are on the rise.

It's intolerable that our students should be subjected to such risks in the pursuit of their education. It's time to demand for immediate changes to protect student’s wellbeing and mental health.
