Remember, we have to fight for our neighborhood and parks through City agencies in partnership with our elected officials, through the courts and with legislation. Call your state senator or your assembly member and ask them to pass (S3820 in the senate and A5026 in the assembly) to close mechanical void loopholes. Click here to find your elected official:

Key points in the legislation to convey: It is urgent that A5026/S3820 be voted on this session. Developers are in a race to the top while residents of the City are being subject to lingering shadows in parks and neighborhoods. The out-of-context Mega-Towers are fraying the neighborhood fabric and they present a danger to the FDNY responders and tenants alike. Please be proactive now ... don't wait for a catastrophe to act!
Or, simply share this petition which is sent to over 40 legislators. Let's ride the momentum together!
