Your friends at Save Central Park NYC have been working hard to support our colleagues at Landmark West! , Municipal Art Society (MAS) and the Committee for Environmentally Sound Development to make developers conform to city zoning. We've been meeting with and calling members of the state senate and assembly to urge support for the Rosenthal/Jackson bills A5026A/S3820A which would amend the Multiple Dwelling Law and close the most egregious loopholes.
It is urgent that A5026/S3820 be voted on this session. Developers are in a race to the top while residents of the City are being subject to lingering shadows in parks and neighborhoods.
