The next New York State legislative session begins in January. Save Central Park NYC Task Force members are actively engaging with members of the New York State Senate and Assembly to urge them to schedule a vote on S3820A/A5026A when they get back to Albany!
Not only have more legislators said they will support the bill in the next session, the following groups are also supporting the Rosenthal/Jackson bill (A5026/S3820):

City Planning recently released their long promised part 2 to reign in mechanical voids - again it's very limited and too generous. We need this amendment to the multiple dwelling law now more than ever.
Assembly Member Linda Rosenthal's and Senator Robert Jackson's bill in Albany would tackle egregious loopholes (no-counts toward FAR) much more comprehensively. Buildings already built or under construction with 25% to 30% - up to 300' - of empty space do nothing to address the needs of New Yorkers!
Support responsible development. Support S3820A/A5026A Amendment to the Multiple Dwelling Law. Share this petition with friends, family, and colleagues!
