Hundreds of thousands have been affected by forced adoptions since WW2

Babies should never be torn from their mothers simply because they were born to unmarried women.  The trauma inflicted lasts a lifetime.

This government could so easily issue a formal apology, but it hasn't.
Apologies have been given in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Westminster has still to follow suit. We will keep going. We must.

This terrible injustice must be acknowledged and appropriate support provided for everyone affected.

Time is running out! We are getting older - some have already died.
