I have been frustrated with the lack of transparency regarding tariffs ever since the implementation of Trump's tariffs and other economic policies. It seems insane to me that as consumers, we are kept in the dark about the specific costs that are attributed to these tariffs when shopping online.

Currently, many of us are unaware of the portion of our payment that constitutes tariffs, leading to confusion and potential miscalculations in our personal budgeting. 

By clearly itemizing these fees, Amazon would enable consumers to better understand the true cost of imported goods, encouraging more accountability. It is only fair that we, as customers, have insight into where our money is going. 

It seems that Amazon has already implemented this change but walked it back after a conversation with the president. We urge Amazon to reconsider this decision and present tariffs as separate line items during checkout and on receipts, thereby supporting transparency and customer awareness.
