Hello, My name is Annette and I am an animal lover 100% as many of you are.

I've decided to take action and help pet owners to be responsible pet owners. This is nationwide, all 50 states.

I really dislike seeing my news feed filled with animals that are dumped, neglected, abused and starved. It absolutely breaks my heart to see so many animals in horrific conditions feeling unloved or unwanted and abused. So many pets end up being strays and end up in shelters some are great shelters but sadly there are kill shelters. My goal is to pass a law where if you own a pet or several they all should be microchipped and licensed. By doing this there is a much better chance the owner and their pet will be reunited. Sadly some owners think microchipping and spending $25 a year on a license is too much. What is too much is never getting your pet back and if you are lucking to get your pet back the fees are going to be much more, resulting in owners just leaving their pet at the shelter and the pet wondering what they did to deserve this. I would also like to make it a law that all pets must be spayed or neutered when its the right age to do so. This will help prevent unwanted pets that end up being dumped or in a shelter.   There are a lot of cruel people in this world but there are so many great people who practically give up their life to help rescue and save lives.  Please wouldn't you like to see a change in lost pets and save lives. Let's help reduce the population of unwanted pets by spaying and neutering and help get pets back to their rightful owner if they so deserve to have that pet. Some do not deserve to ever own a pet again however.  Please be a part of the change and help sign the petition. My goal is to make it a law that when you adopt, rescue save a stray and bring it home that your pet must be registered the same day with your county and state. I will have to work on figuring out how that will take place. I am also hoping to pass a law where your pet not only has to be licensed and microchipped with in 2 weeks of bringing that pet home but they also must be spayed and neutered when they are age appropriate. If the pet you adopt, rescue is adult and now fixed you must have that pet fixed within 1 month of taking ownership.  Yes it is costly but how much is your love for your pet?  It is costly when you lose a pet for sure whether it costs you heartache or financially.   Your pet should be worth it to you to help get them home safely and reunited.
