S.146 "TAKE IT DOWN ACT" is a piece of legislation that became federal law on May 19th 2025. The act prohibits and criminalizes the creation, facilitation and distribution of real or generated images, audio or video of people in indecent or obscene manners without their consent. All social media platforms and websites are now required by law to remove nonconsensual sexual content.

The bill was authored by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN).
