Demand ACTION on the Unsafe "Madia's Plaza"

The Issue

"Madia's Plaza," located at the intersection of Oak St and Castle St, has become a cause for serious community concern. This building poses a great risk to public safety, due to its dilapidated state and potential structural issues. Not only is this a health hazard, but it is also a negative influence on the overall aesthetic of our cityscape. It's time to seek action for the betterment of our community. We urge the city officials to label "Madia's Plaza" as an unsafe building and require the owner to demolish it. But this shouldn't be the end. We also call on the city authorities to develop the land post-demolition, potentially affording more opportunity and beauty for our community. This is our city. It's time to make it safe, clean, and inviting. Please join us in demanding the labeling, demolition, and redevelopment of the "Madia's Plaza" site.

We residents deserve answers on this site. The owner must be brought forward and explain himself to the city council and public at an (or a series) of open meetings on the status of the site (whether it is currently being sold, redeveloped, or otherwise).

Any zombie structures pose the greatest risk to the betterment of our city. The council and legal team must pursue any and all legal actions to enhance this site and make it functional. A dilapidated building is more than an eyesore. It is a blight on our community.
