The Issue

My name Is Tess Flynn, I am a property owner, published author of womens self help books and humanitarian who spent years working with NGOs like Cayuga Home for Children. I am reaching out to demand urgent attention from our Mayor, Wayne Zitt, who also resides here at The Galaxy Towers in Guttenberg, NJ, regarding a grave injustice that I, personally, have faced right here on our property and concerns all of you as well.  My story was aired on several news stations and WPIX did an entire segment on what undeniably happened to me and how our police department refuses to investigate.  Not only am I being denied protection but all who reside in this community Is as well.

I was the victim of a violent crime where I was attacked by another property owner, a convicted murderer who has served over two decades in prison. Along with this individual, two other perpetrators were involved in this heinous act—one being another violent convicted felon and the third a teenage trafficking victim. These people detained and drugged me for over 24 hours, turning my world upside down and leaving me severely traumatized.

To make matters worse, the police department, which we entrust to protect us, failed to do so. The local police blatantly lied about two 911 calls that our concerned neighbors made after i escaped my attackers and had passed out in Tower II while I was knocking on doors asking for help, which clearly stated I was non-responsive. These calls aré on record at The Office of Public safety. Instead, corrupt officers from the Guttenberg police department fabricated a false story, stating they received a 911 call claiming I was abducting a child, which led to my false arrest literally while unconscious  There aré no records of any 911 call stating that. Meanwhile, the actual assailants were allowed to leave the scene, including a violent criminal who, despite being reported to the police, still resides among us, posing a continued threat to me and our entire community.

This gross negligence and corruption within our local law enforcement cannot be tolerated. Mayor Wayne Zitt, as both our leader and neighbor, must enact measures to hold these individuals accountable and ensure the safety of all community members living in The Galaxy Towers. We deserve to live in a community where justice is served and safety is prioritized.  I was forced to contract a private investigator from A Rated investigations of Paramus, NJ to assist me in compiling devastating undeniable evidence that we have  forwarded to departments within the FBI, DOJ, Attorney General and several other relevant agencies.

Unfortunately federal investigations could take 12-24 months and I was delayed several months from the kidnapping due to corruption.  I implore our community to stand with me in demanding that Mayor Wayne Zitt addresses this issue immediately. We urge him to initiate an independent investigation into the dangerous crimes of kidnapping and attempted murder that took place here  on January 3, 2025 involving another property owner and the police department’s conduct during the incident, provide protection for victims of crime, and take the necessary steps to ensure that our community is safe from violent individuals.

Please sign this petition to hold those in power accountable and to foster a safer environment for all residents of The Galaxy Towers and the broader Guttenberg, NJ area. Our voices must be heard, and justice must be served.
