Demand action against verbal abuse and threats to individuals
The Issue
In June, I entrusted a company secretary with the registration of my firm after sourcing a reference from Justdial. My son, with my permission, managed the process to ensure it went smoothly. We frequently inquired about the progress and requested updates via email, only to face a shocking turn of events. The company secretary, instead of providing the requested updates, allowed other individuals to verbally abuse and issue threats against me. This unexpected hostility was deeply disturbing and left me in a state of distress.
Despite having clear evidence in the form of call recordings, the authorities at our local police station took no substantial action. I approached them hoping for justice and security, presenting my evidence to bolster the gravity of the situation. However, instead of filing an FIR, which would have set the wheels of justice in motion, they chose to file a Non-Cognizable (NC) report. This administrative indifference has left me vulnerable and feeling unsafe, knowing that the threats were made but not taken seriously.
Verbal abuse and threats are serious issues that should never be ignored. They represent a breach of personal security and a threat to individual well-being. The lack of urgent and appropriate action by the local police is unacceptable and sets a dangerous precedent where offenders feel emboldened, knowing there are minimal consequences for such behavior.
I am calling for an immediate intervention in this matter. The police must upgrade the complaint to an FIR and conduct a thorough investigation to hold the perpetrators accountable.
