Demand Accountability from the FA: Justice and Compensation for Liverpool FC

The Issue

We, the undersigned, call on The Football Association (FA) to take immediate action regarding the repeated misconduct of referee David Coote, whose decisions have shown clear bias against Liverpool FC since the 2020-2021 season. These decisions, including his failure to punish serious fouls, have directly harmed the club and its players, undermining the integrity of the Premier League.

Additionally, Coote made offensive remarks about Liverpool's former manager, Jürgen Klopp. Although the FA may not have been initially aware of these comments, they failed to take appropriate action, allowing Coote to continue officiating Liverpool matches. By not addressing this misconduct, the FA has neglected its responsibility to uphold fairness and respect in the league.

In light of these issues, we demand:

1. £500 million in compensation for Liverpool FC, addressing the potential financial and reputational damage caused by biased officiating and the subsequent neglect of the situation by the FA.
2. $100 million compensation for Jürgen Klopp for the emotional and professional damage caused by Coote’s unprofessional behavior and derogatory comments.
3. A comprehensive investigation into the integrity of referees officiating Premier League matches, with a particular focus on ensuring that no official harbors biases against any team, especially one as prominent as Liverpool.

The FA has a responsibility to uphold the integrity of English football and protect its players, managers, and supporters from unjust treatment. This petition is a call to action to ensure fairness, accountability, and professionalism within the league. The FA must set a clear precedent that such behavior will not be tolerated, for the good of football as a whole.

By signing this petition, we stand for a footballing world where impartiality and respect guide every decision on and off the pitch.
