My daughter was a victim of sexual harassment at the hands of Jeff Brandow, a teacher and coach at San Luis High School. Despite her courage in confirming reports and providing evidence, her claims were dismissed and Mr. Brandow was allowed to continue teaching and coaching for an additional five months. This is not only unacceptable but also indicative of a larger issue within the school administration.

San Luis High School administrators, both former and current, must be held accountable for their decision to hire and retain Mr. Brandow despite allegations against him. Furthermore, they need to answer for their inappropriate handling of this case - questioning a minor about such serious allegations without notifying her parents before, during or after the interrogation.

As members of the San Luis Obispo community, we are deeply concerned about these actions which put our children at risk. We demand answers: Why are these administrators still on campus? How can we trust Desiree Dellinger, Leslie O'Connor, Rollin Dickinson, and Superintendent Prater? What measures are being taken to ensure that this does not happen again?

We call upon local authorities in San Luis Obispo County to investigate this matter thoroughly and hold those responsible accountable for their actions. We also urge other parents, students, educators across California and beyond who believe in justice to support us by signing this petition.
