This is was encouraged by the heart aching pain of my four months old kitten who  tragically died during what should have been a routine neutering operation at Stead's Veterinary Clinic. Despite my devastation, the response from Mr. Stead and his team was cold, unfeeling. It wasn't until after this heartbreaking incident that I checked the clinic's reviews – I was horrified to discover countless others whose pets faced a similar fate under their care.

Unfortunately, this lack of empathy in favor of profit is not unique to Stead’s clinic; there are alarming numbers of similar cases reported across people in the area. It's essential that this issue is addressed at a national level to prevent further tragedies. Veterinary clinics should prioritize animal health and wellbeing, not revenue.

This unethical behavior cannot be left silently. We must demand more from our veterinary clinics. Insist on increased transparency and enforcement of ethical standards in all vetinary clinics as our pet owners are being misled to a “cheaper” priced vets and then are forced to feel responsible for putting there animal in the care of Mr Stead.
